👁️ Vision Circle // Ecosystem Offerings // Recommended Media
Hi there from somewhere in the American Southwest 🏜️
It has been quite a journey from coast to coast, having juicy collaborate conversations with Turquoise Sound, Michael Garfield, Ryan Littman-Quinn and others wonderful folks in the orbit.
While gearing up for Embodied Ethics in The Age of AI (starts April 18!), which I’ve been orienting to as community learning journey: a ripe context for those of us interested in participating in the emerging space to learn and grow together. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions :)
After taking a couple of weeks off, I intend on hosting weekly Office Hours between now and the course start, experimenting with different formats each time. Next Wednesday’s will be a Vision Circle:
🧿 Vision Circle | Wed March 20 | 12-1:30pm PST
For our next Office Hours, I want to extend a special invitation to the founders out there (regardless of stage or field) to take a break, reconnect with your vision, share any tensions that are alive for you, and receive reflections from others (all are welcome to join).
I facilitated several Vision Circles a few years back in my ethical entrepreneurship coaching days, and would love to make them a staple for this ecosystem. No need to prepare, just bring yourself.

🎁 Ecosystem Offerings
There are lots of wonderful events and experience on my radar. I’d like to start sharing a few with each newsletter:
Silence (with Layman Pascal) | “Sitting silently” is the exact opposite of every other online course. There will be no introductions, no additional exercises, and no explanations. You will not be taught anything or asked to share anything. At least not in the ordinary fashion. Instead, you will be required to engage in the time-honored practice of extended silent sitting -- in the company of Layman Pascal, your liminal peers & your so-called “self.”
Wisdom 2.0 | The 15th annual conference is happening April 24-26th in Francisco (livestream tickets available too) with relevant speakers like Bo Shao, Ivy Ross, Artuo Bejar, Dick Schwartz and more. These events are always a rich gathering point for those interesting in the intersection of ancient wisdom and modern business. Let me know if you’ll be there!
Is there something you’d like to offer? Reply to this newsletter or email help@wiseinnovation.school and we will consider sharing it in the future.
📖 Recommended Media
We’re starting to curate relevant essays, podcasts, stories and more. Here are some talks I’ve appreciated in the last few weeks:
Post Growth Entrepreneurship | Lectures from a recent Post Growth Entrepreneurship class at the University of Amsterdam on topics ranging from bootstrapping to impact investing, to PGE at the micro (personal) / meso (business/orgs) / macro (supply chain and macroeconomics) levels.
The Great Simplification: Samantha Sweetwater | Samantha joins Nate Hagens to share her journey and explore questions like what can we learn from the various indigenous cultures who understand their entanglement with the land? Is it possible for future societies to value a more balanced development across the spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical aspects of its people? How can we nurture the subjective, intersubjective, and objective within ourselves to create more holistic sensemaking within a complex world?
