Damn, this is like a mini-thesis on the future of education! It's so rich with content and can't wait to explore all the links. Thank you --

A comprehensive and thoughtful take on wisdom schools, Andrew.

As a (fellow) entrepreneur who's also waking up to the necessity and the caveats of more collective action like this, I find a growing curiosity in the (IMO key) question you're pointing at here: how might we act/do/build "without exacerbating the distortions of contemporary education and entrepreneurship?"

A friend of mine (also an entrepreneur on a consciousness journey) wonders how much we need to be still and look, carefully and closely, at the collapse of the current systems before launching missions to build new ones.

Appreciate your work, and look forward to following along.

This is an astonishingly thoughtful and vital article. Thank you for weaving so many threads into a tapestry of hope, clarity, and grounded imagination for the future of education. Reading this felt like opening a long-awaited letter from the future, written with reverence for the past and a humble devotion to what must now unfold, and in some ways already is.

The vision of wisdom schools blossoming in bioregional soils, rooted in interdependence and shaped by initiatory learning, touches something ancient and necessary. You speak not just of what needs building, but how, and that distinction, that deep integrity of process, feels like the seed of the very transformation we long for.

With immense gratitude for this pathfinding work. I’ll be walking alongside and listening for where the path might lead. Thank you. Truly.

Beautiful! Two thoughts about keys to moving ahead without unitentionally destroying what we intend to restore:

Learning from those (humans, plants, the elements, etc) who already live in harmony with the Earth

And working with the Ancestors.. So much of the wisdom of what we need is in their hands, but due to their own traumas they often cannot pass down that wisdom, and instead pass down inexplicable pain and obstacles to what we seek. I see this in Family Constellation work all the time. And I see that healing with the ancestors can open doors quickly and easily to insight, wisdom, health, expanded capacity, strong healthy bonds with our ancestors, and love.

I love this Andrew. Thank you for diving deeply. As a seeker of healthy ecovillage/modern wisdom schools I've been disappointed by the repeating Game A principles that sneak into them. I'm hoping we can lean in to building wisdom schools that address local ecosystem/social system emergencies and build disaster resilience hubs as a mechanism of being in Service beyond individual/tribal needs. #sikhi
